Detailed description:
Black and white photograph from the collection of 174 photographs stuck into the album documenting the city in years 1945-1946. It presents the renovation of the City Hall in Świętojańska Street in Gdynia. The shown elevation is the one facing Świętojańska Street. It is a five-storey brick building covered with plaster and with a flat roof – visible elevation damage and plaster defects. At the building’s façade there is a scaffolding of the same height as the building. We can see men standing on it and a sign with the information about the company completing the renovation: “Gdynia City Hall building façade repair. Contractor: “Filar construction company, 10 Zakopiańska Street…”
